Your New Guitar

Hello Closet pickers! Now that the holiday rush and anticipation of getting that new guitar is finally over, are you left looking at your new toy sitting on display on a guitar stand? While you look at it with amazement that you finally have your new guitar, it’s easy to get sidetracked.

Now is the time to take action!

Don’t let this new adventure intimidate you into letting it become a coat rack. I know this personally, because I’ve done this with home gym equipment.

If we have learned anything from 2020 it’s that nothing is for certain.

Take that first, step pick it up, and get to know it.

Before you even strum the strings, look it over from top to bottom and learn every part of the guitar. Once you can identify the parts of your new guitar you’ll be ready to take the next step, tuning it!

Like I have mentioned before, nothing is going to happen overnight so please do not get discouraged. This is going to be a long but satisfying journey. I am here to encourage you to pick it up daily and get to know the feel of it in your hands and it will become second nature.

I encourage you to reach out and ask me questions. I’m here to help and I can’t wait to hear your stories about your new journey.

Happy Pickin’
